We have been informed by a young man that they are running traction control, and there are others like them; I’m sure this wasn’t meant to come out. My question: is traction control legal? If not how and when are you the track going to check for it? Traction control is a huge advantage. If you are not going to check for it, then we are going to get it.

GIVE ME A BREAK! We check charging systems and check boxes. Which in most cases will identify "traction control". But if someone wants to beat our "tests" bad enough they will. Only works on DEAD SLICK. What class are we suggesting?
So to answer your question: No its Not legal and yes we check the overall system so we check for it but don't go on a witch hunt for it. If this becomes an issue we will be required to take steps to eliminate it which will cost the racers money...so if you know someone using it tell them to stop...OR ELSE.
This next statement goes to everyone reading this: I will repeat what I said at a previous drivers meeting: If you cheat, and are racing for money you are a LIAR and a THIEF. And I don't want that kind of person at my track.
